12/18/08 -- String Player positions are now open for the Cross Timbers Youth
Orchestra. If you love to play and would like play more check out this
opportunity. Directors are Ellen Townley and Angie Cimbalo, both of Allen ISD.
This opportunity compliments but does not conflict with activities of the Pearce

Congrats to the 2008-2009 Region III All-Region
Orchestra members from Pearce High School. Many worked very hard and it
was a very competitive audition. The following students were selected to
represent Pearce at the All-Region Clinic and Concert in December: Violins--
Sonya Yun (Senior), Alan Lu
(Senior) Hannah Park (Senior),
Anna Park (Junior), Kaitlin
Valentine (Freshman) and Taylor Piske
(Freshman); Violas-- Michael Patti (Senior),
Matt Steiss (Senior) and
Carly Cowen (Senior); Parker Blackman
(Junior) was selected as an alternate; Cellos-- Eddie Chu
(Sophomore); and Bass-- Alexandra DeCrescenzo
(Senior)

Pearce Homecoming Queen for 2008-2009.

Member, who was recently named a 2008-2009 National Merit
Semifinalist
Congrats to Maggie Alewine and Leigh Kellner,
Pearce Chamber Orchestra Members, who were recently designated as Commended
Students in the 2009 National Merit Program.
