    The Allen Philharmonic Orchestra is performing this Saturday night at 8pm in the new Allen ISD Performing Arts Center located at Allen HS.

    Information listed on this flyer will allow students to attend for free and allow parents to pay the student price of $10/ticket.

    Mr. Cross will be playing at this concert, so be sure to give him a hard time!

    Concert programming will include Antonin Dvorak’s Carnival Overture, Ralph Vaughan Williams’ O Clap Your Hands, and Edward Elgar’s Enigma Variations.

    Phantom Pit rehearsals begin Thursday 10/20/11 from 4:45-6PM in the Orchestra Room.

    Congrats to the following students who were recently named to the 2011 TMEA Region 3 Orchestra.

    Jacob Holland and Abby McBroom on String Bass
    Travis Kannarr and Laura Myers on Viola
    Xuma Metcalf, Kat Bullard, and Kaitlin Valentine on Violin 2; Sarah Rigall was named as an alternate
    Eline Rosenthal and Taylor Piske on Violin 1

    These students were selected from 100′s of others on Saturday and will represent Pearce High School at a performance in December. Way to go!!!
